On Tuesday, October 30, Patterson students participated in the National Student Mock Election by casting their votes for the next president of the United States. The mock election was facilitated by the Fourth Grade GT Study Group students who led the student body through the steps of the election process. The students did an outstanding job all day!{{more}}

On Wednesday, October 31st, the students carefully tallied the votes from the Mock Election. There were 392 ballots cast in the election. The Republican candidate, Mitt Romney, received 132 votes. The Democratic candidate, Barack Obama, received 260 votes. Our school’s results will be included in the My Voice National Student Mock Election.
