Marjorie “Granny” Bruce 1922 – 2014

Marjorie “Granny” Bruce, 91, passed away on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at home in Kennedale, after a short illness, surrounded by her family and friends.

Marjorie was born July 1, 1922, in Jennings, Kan., to George and Else Mae Tacha. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Dean Bruce, and grandson, Jason Lee Conn.

 

Survivors: Her children, Michael D. Conn and Tonya of Odessa, Randy L. Conn and Joe O’Neel, both of Kennedale; sisters, Peggy Thompson, Betty Kurtz and Dotty Gillen, all of Mead, Kan.; grandchildren, Justin D. and Amber Conn of Hernando, Miss., and Jessica O’Neel of Olive Branch, Miss.; and great-grandchildren, David, Christian, Carter and Emma Grace, all of Hernando, Miss.
