FORT WORTH ?Pre-registration for the upcoming 10th annual Tarrant County Back to School Roundup is being extended through Tuesday. This includes eligible students in Kennedale and Arlington. {{more}}
The Roundup helps struggling families prepare for the school year. Families who attend the Roundup get free school supplies for students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, and can also participate in health screenings. Pre-K through 5th graders will receive a free backpackHealth screening include vision, dental and required immunizations. Haircuts will be given plus information on education, health and social services.Pre-registration is required to determine eligibility.
This year?s Roundup is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Amon G. Carter Exhibit Hall, 3401 W. Lancaster Ave. in Fort Worth.
Pre-registration details:
? Pre-registration will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday at the Resource Connection, 1100 Circle Drive in Fort Worth.
? Organizers said pre-registration will from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at The Potter?s House (Fort Worth Campus), 1200 Wood-haven Blvd.
On Tuesday, families can pre-register from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
at La Gran Plaza, 4200 South Freeway Fort Worth.
