The Kennedale High School Lady Kats defeated 5A Burleson Centennial Tuesday night 63-47.{{more}}
Kennedale moves to 3-0 for the season by defeating their third 5A team. The Lady Kats won every quarter pulling away in the second and breezed in for the win.
Kennedale sophomore Evie Whorley led all scorers with 20 points followed by 19 from Jasmyn Poe (Sr). Lucy Benson (So) put up 10. Brenee Ellis (Sr) had 5, Payton Williams (So) 3, Jasmine Alli (So), Amanda Davis (Fr) and Dajia Simmons (So) had 2 apiece.
The Lady Kats will play Waco Midway at home Friday night at 6 p.m.
