There is never enough thanks …?

“There are never enough thanks to give our volunteers or words to express what they mean to Meals On Wheels and the homebound clients that we serve in Tarrant County,” said Sarah Drew-Watson, VP of Volunteer Services. “Our volunteers are truly the backbone and heart of our program. They have risen to the occasion during the COVID-19 crisis and adapted to all the new regulations and safety protocols put in place to keep both them and our clients safe, and that is what has enabled us to continue to deliver hot nutritious meals daily to thousands of clients throughout Tarrant County. Although we can not celebrate with our volunteers in person this year, we are celebrating them every day in our hearts!”

Volunteers reaching these major milestones of service will receive their certificates of recognition and award in the mail this year.
