It is with much regret that I attempted to withdraw my name from the race for City Council Place 5.
I was preparing to run a tough race and commit myself to this community and what matters to our community.
Fortunately, and unfortunately related to this decision, my plate of obligations became rather full. I take the potential opportunity to serve the community very seriously and, in the event elected, recent obligations would pull me away from the duties as a dedicated council woman.
With elections approaching, I would never want to split a vote that would not be considered beneficial to another. That being said, my name may be listed on the ballet and I ask that you please consider the remaining candidates for Place 5 in your final decision.
