Holiday Notes
Closures for the holidays …
The City of Kennedale offices including the Senior Center will be closed December 25, 26, and January 1.
The Kennedale Library will be closed December 23 – January 1. Special note: The Library will also be closed January 16th – January 31 for for a new coat of paint and carpet. The Library will not be checking out books or other material during that time, so plan ahead. However, the Kennedale Library is part of a three-city consortium along with the City of Mansfield and the City of Arlington. Your library card is good at any of their sites or online year-round.
All Kennedale ISD schools are closed for the holiday and will reopen on January 4, 2024.
The Mission Store and Food Pantry Holiday closure includes Dec. 20 – 30 Tues.-Saturday. The Food Pantry will be open on Tuesday Jan. 2 and the Mission Store on Wednesday Jan. 3
Christmas Eve Church Services …
Ignite – First Baptist Church of Kennedale (309 North Kinney Street) – Candlelight Service with communion and carols, 6 pm.
First United Methodist Church of Kennedale (229 W 4th St). Candlelight Service begins at 6 pm. Public invited.
Both Covenant Life Baptist Church (610 Wildcat Way) and Life Fellowship Church (611 Little School Road) will be holding Christmas Eve morning services beginning at 10 am.
First Bible Baptist Church Kennedale (209 W 3rd St) is having Christmas Eve Service at 11:00 am and 6:00 pm.

Iron Wheels Antiques and Gifts (201 W Kennedale Parkway) is open for holiday shopping including Saturday, December 23rd. Most booths have sales going on for late holiday shoppers.
Daiquiri Domain in Kennedale (201 W Kennedale Parkway) now has “Fish Fry Fridays” – every Friday. Stop by or call in orders To-Go.
For a unique gift check out SuTi Craft Distillery (528 W Kennedale Pkwy) specializing in Vietnamese rice spirits. Tastings are held Tuesday – Saturday 1-6pm. Bottles (limit two) are available for purchase.
