This morning, KISD teachers and staff started their day off a bit different. The sounds of the KHS drumline and cheers from Cheer Kennedale rang out through the halls of each campus, as the Kennedale Education Foundation conducted their annual Pride Patrol.

Fifteen KISD educators were awarded grants today during Pride Patrol, totaling over $21,000 in grant money given away. The teachers were surprised in their classrooms by KEF and their campus administration with a giant check and excited cheers. Grants were awarded to teachers at all five campuses and were for a wide variety of things, from a rock-climbing wall at Arthur ECC to a sightreading program for the junior high choir.
