First day early voting breakdowns and a link to hourly wait times

Voting was up across the county including Kennedale, wait time varies from site to site …

According to unofficial figures published this evening by the Tarrant County Election Center, voting was up on this first day of early voting. And, the good news for most reporting sites, the wait time was 29 minutes or less.

Kennedale precinct 2721 has 2418 registered voters and 120 showed up today, a 5.3% increase over previous first day turnout. Tarrant County had 42,428 votes cast today out of 1,196,407 total registered voters for a 3.55% increase.

Peak time was 4-5 pm but was elevated all day across the county

Voter turnout by hour showed a rapid increase until 10 am with approximately 4,278 check-ins per hour and it which steadily increased to approximately 5,319 by the 5 o’clock hour.

Kennedale Library averaged a 29 minute or less wait time on the opening day …

It has been suggested that there was a number of voters from other areas voting at the Kennedale site because of shorter lines. This is possible since any voter in Tarrant County can vote at any early voting site in the county. It is legal just not on Election Day, November 3, 2020.

October 13 – 17 Tuesday – Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

October 18 Sunday – Closed

October 19 – 23 Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

October 24 Saturday 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

October 25 Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

October 26 – 30 Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
