In 1996 Kennedale went 9-0-1 in regular season, finish at 11-1-1 under Tim Stout. Dan Yokeley?s 1985 team went 9-1 before finishing at 10-2. Current Coach Richard Barrett has had a couple of near misses with his first three teams going 9-1 in regular season, 2001-03. Again, in 2009, a Barrett coached team went 9-1 in regular season.

Ironically, the Wildcats play a team that is going the opposite direction. Diamond Hill is 0-9 and has to play the #4 Wildcats with a nationally rated offense and a deadly defense.

The game will be played Saturday at Fort Worth Farrington Field in an afternoon game scheduled to start at 3 p.m. With temperature at kick-off a chilly 65 degrees, but still a good afternoon for football.
