Classroom instruction runs from 8-8:30 at Kennedale City Hall. Then the class continues in the field at the Southwest Nature Preserve on Bowman Springs Road (South Pond).
Topics include presentation on bird anatomy as it pertains to field identification – birds common to this region during the winter – basic ecology, habitat associations, and behaviors to assist in identification.
If you don?t need instruction, join the class at 8:30AM for the bird-watching practice section at the Nature Preserve.
