The LaDainian Tomlinson Preparatory Academy will present the LT Prep Athletic Performance Clinic from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 at the Fellowship Academy School, 1021 N. Bowman Springs Road in Kennedale, Texas. Check-in begins at 10:30 a.m. The cost is $69.
The clinic is more than just a summer football camp. {{more}}It is a performance tool for student-athletes in grades 6-11 designed to increase scholarship opportunity awareness while instilling the academy’s core values to not only make them better players, but complete student-athletes as well. The academy’s philosophy is that student-athletes must have knowledge and understanding of recruiting and academic requirements for collegiate athletics as well as natural ability. The academy also believes in providing education and training to parents, as their role throughout high school and the recruiting process can have a major impact on an athlete’s ability to play at that level.
The program includes skill-specific detail-oriented position drills, speed drills and instruction, team-oriented drills for competition, and recruiting information. All area school athletes are invited to attend.
