The Kennedale Lady Kats (20-17, 8-1) have continue their run through the second half of district play by defeating FTW Benbrook 3-1 last Friday and Lake Worth 3-0 Tuesday evening. {{more:Read more …}}
 
Kennedale has three games left in district play after a breather this Friday night. Next Tuesday, they will host Diamond Hill-Jarvis for Senior Night in the Wildcat Den and then they will travel to Mineral Wells on Friday, October 21 and to Castleberry on Tuesday, October 25.

Last week, Kennedale downed Benbrook in 4 sets 25-11, 25-10, 23-25 and 25-11. For the match, team stat leaders were Ranaja Taylor (Sr) 10 kills, Jodi Dixon (Sr) 8 aces and 14 assist, Raeley Crosley (Jr) 7 blocks, Noah Dixon (Jr) 10 digs and Grace Guadagnolo (So) 16 receptions
 
Lake Worth win …
Tuesday night, the Kats swept Lake Worth 25-14, 25-14 and 25-11. Team stat leaders for the Lake Worth game were Jasmine Ali (Sr) 9 kills and 2 blocks, Jodi Dixon (Sr) 3 aces, Noah Dixon 2 blocks, Raeley Crosley (Jr) 15 digs, Lillian Rychlik (Fr) 18 assist and Grace Guadagnolo (So) 11 receptions.

In MaxPreps volleyball ratings, Kennedale remains at #12 in Class 4A.
 
In the Star Telegram Area Volleyball rankings, Kennedale is #9 behind #1 Southlake Carroll, #2 Boswell, #3 Colleyville Heritage, #4 Aledo, #5 Granbury, #6 Paschal, #7 Weatherford and #8 Arlington Heights. Cleburne rounded out the top 10. Kennedale is the only 4A team in the area top 10.
