Swearing in ceremony will follow ?
Monday, May 15, the City of Kennedale will host a reception for the incoming and outgoing council members at 5:30 p.m. followed by a swearing in of the new members at 6 p.m. {{more: READ MORE …}}
This event is open to the public and will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall at 405 Municipal Drive, Kennedale, TX 76060.
New members to the council will be Rockie Gilley, Jan Joplin and Sandra Lee. Outgoing council members are Charles Overstreet, who served for 5 years; Mike Walker, who has been on the council for 3 years; and, Frank Fernandez who served for 7 years.
The regular monthly meeting will follow a work session at 6:30 p.m. and is set to begin at 7 p.m. All meetings are open to the public.
