?I feel like I did pretty well, and I ran well in front of them. I got to talk to a couple of the Lcoaches down there, and it?s good to go down there and [compete],? Washington said.

His best times of the summer came at TCU camp where Washington caught the eye of TCU head coach Gary Patterson by running a 4.4 in the 40 yard dash and a 4.07 in the shuttle.

Washington said he had put most of his focus this summer on improving those times.

?I?ve been working with my coach on both those times, and I?m just happy I was able to go out there and run well,? said the 5?6 speedster.

While his best times were recorded at TCU, Washington said he feels like the University of Houston May be the closest to offering him.

?I went to their camp in Desoto. I talked to several of their coaches, and they all said they were impressed with me, and they had been watching my tape,? Washington said. ?My tape is on Hudl, and they had seen it. [Defensive line coach Ricky] Logo said they were excited to see what I do my junior season.?

?I feel like they might be the first team to offer me,? Washington explained.

Washington said he knows that the number of teams he is hearing from will expand if he performs up to his own set of expectation this season.

In addition to TCU, Houston and Baylor, Washington said he is also hearing from a B1G school.

?I?ve also been hearing from Nebraska. They were one of the team?s that I sent my tape to.?

Last month, Washington told Scout.com that he had also heard from Texas Tech and Oklahoma.
