Obituary

Patricia Kay Lyon, 62, passed away on July 23, 2020 at her home in Kennedale, Texas. She was born on October 5, 1957 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Billy Jack and Doris (Willis) Conatser.

Kay grew up in Kennedale. She graduated from Kennedale High School in Kennedale, Texas in 1976. After high school she began work for Southwestern Bell as an Administrative Clerk.  Kay went to school and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Wesleyan University.  She worked at Southwestern Bell/ ATT for 35 years moving up the corporate ladder to be become a Contract Negotiator.  She took medical retirement in 2012.  Kay was involved in The First United Methodist Church of Kennedale as Treasurer, in Bible Studies & Mission work.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Jack & Doris Conatser.

She is survived by her daughter and her husband Nicole and Steven Good of Emporia, Kansas; grandchildren, Brevyn, Brendon, Edison, and Emmerson; sisters and their husbands Connie and Paul McSpadden of Richardson, Texas and Phyllis and Buz Stewart of Arlington, Texas; in addition to many cousins, nephews, niece and friends that are considered to be family.

A Graveside Celebration of Life will be held at Emerald Hill Memorial Park 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd at 9:00am, Tuesday July 28, 2020.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to The First United Methodist Church of Kennedale (PO Box 146 Kennedale, Texas 76060), or the Union Gospel Mission.
