The 2021 Kennedale Wildcat football season kicks off today at 7pm at Eagle Stadium in Decatur. Kennedale returns under head coach Richard Barrett looking to build on last year’s 9-win season that was cut short in the first round of playoffs. The Dallas Morning News and the Star Telegram have the Wildcats ranked at the #4 spot among area teams and Dave Campbell’s Texas Football has them ranked at #11 in statewide 4A rankings.
