The Kennedale Lady Kats are ranked #18 in the state by Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA), #1 in 4A in dfwVarsity and #10 in dfwVarsity for all local schools regardless of size.

On Friday the Lady Kats opened their defense of last year’s 12-0 district title at home by defeating Dallas Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy in 3 straight sets: 25-1, 25-3, 25-5. This year the Lady Kats play in District 10/4A.

Tuesday night the Kats traveled to 5A Red Oak (7-9) and came home with another straight-set 3-0 win. This was a more challenging 3-0 win, with the Kats winning the match 25-23, 25-21 and 25-19.
