Significant Calls of the Week:

W. Kennedale Parkway – Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated person who had also been criminally trespassed from the location. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Mansfield jail without incident.

E. Kennedale Parkway – Officers were dispatched to a possible burglary in progress. The complainant provided a description of the subject who was seen on the property removing items without consent. Surveillance video footage recorded the subject walking around the closed business. Responding officers were able to locate the suspect who was charged with criminal trespass.

North Road – Multiple callers advised of a disturbance. Officers made contact with the victim who advised that they were struck in the face leaving visible injuries. Officers arrested the suspect who was transported to Mansfield jail without incident.

Spring Branch Lane – Officers responded to a disturbance. Officers spoke with the involved individuals, one of whom had visible injuries. Officers arrested one suspect who was transported to Mansfield jail without incident.

W. Kennedale Parkway – Officers were dispatched to a minor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.

W. Kennedale Parkway – Officers responded to a theft report. Upon arrival, the suspect was still outside of the location. After discussing the situation with the complainant, the suspect was allowed to return the stolen goods and no charges were filed. The suspect was issued a criminal trespass warning.

North Road – Officers were dispatched to a burglary report. The complainant advised that two unknown suspects were seen entering a residence and causing damage to the property. Charges were filed.

Sublett Road at Hillside Drive – Officers responded to a hit and run accident. The complainant advised that their vehicle was struck by a silver sedan that ran a stop sign. The driver of the sedan left the scene. An offense report was completed.

North Road – Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance. The complainant stated they were assaulted by the suspect. Officers filed a report and forwarded an Assault by Contact case to the Kennedale Municipal Court.

Mansfield Cardinal Road – Officers responded to a report of dogs attacking livestock. Photos were taken and the report was forwarded to Animal Control.

Mansfield Cardinal Road at E. Eden Road – The complainant recognized a stolen vehicle from a social media post. The Tri-County Auto Theft Task Force assisted officers with the recovery of the vehicle.

Timberline Drive – Officers responded to a trespassing call. The complainant advised that a known person was seen on their driveway. Officers made contact with the subject who was issued a criminal trespass warning at the request of the homeowner.

W. Kennedale Parkway – Officers were on an unrelated service call when they heard an audible alarm coming from a business. After officers arrived, they observed that a possible burglary had occurred, but no persons or vehicles were seen leaving the location. The owner arrived and confirmed that items were taken from the location. Evidence was collected at the scene to include photographs and video surveillance footage of the possible suspect.

Municipal Drive – Officers were dispatched to an attempted burglary of a vehicle. The complainant advised three individuals were seen inside his vehicle that later fled in an unidentified vehicle. It appeared that the suspects damaged a door handle and ignition in an attempt to steal the vehicle. Evidence was collected at the scene to include photographs and video surveillance footage of the possible suspects.

E. Kennedale Parkway at Crestview Drive – Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.
