Kenaj Washington is a senior at Kennedale High School this year. He has just wrapped up his football career this past month but not his high school career. There is apparently more to come.
WFAA Sportscaster Joe Trahan has named him the High School Scholar Athlete of the Week. There is a link to the video below but the following achievements are the reasons for his selection to this unique honor.
Kenaj is currently ranked #5 in a class of 253 at KHS where he is also the 2021-22 Senior Class President. He served as a captain on the Wildcat football team. And, he is a 3-time regional powerlifter and a state meet qualifier.
Kenaj is a member of the KHS National Honor Society and scored the 99% on the SAT. He has plans to go to Stanford University and study computer science.
