The Kennedale High School Robotics Team is poised to host its first match ever, on Saturday, October 8, 2022, in the KHS Gymnasium, capitalizing on students’ dedication to this team, their hard work, and desire to compete. Now in its third year, interest and participation in the Robotics Team has grown in that time. This year, more than 25 students have enrolled in the Kennedale High School CTE Robotics 1 and 2 courses, with the opportunity to learn the baseline components of robotics knowledge and understanding. The courses are aligned with the Robotics Club, which meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the High School Multi-Purpose Room. The Robotics Team is the unit that actually participates in the competitions, which this year will include the UIL BEST and FIRST Robotics contests. Let’s cheer on our Robotics Team for their first home match on Saturday, October 8th. The KHS Robotics Team is led by Coach Charles Arnspiger, KHS Math Teacher, Andrew Hoskins, KHS CTE Computer Science Teacher, and Robert Franklin, KHS Math Teacher.
