High School students enrolled in the CTE Health Sciences Program helped students at Patterson Elementary school earlier this month, making great partnership of the collaboration between older students and younger ones. Elementary students truly benefitted from seeing their older peers in such a professional manner, as they helped with tasks such as blood pressure, body temperature and other measurements and readings. High School students had the chance to interact in a professional manner, preparing them for real world life experiences with actual patients in the elementary students. Great job to the Kennedale instructors at all buildings for seeking to construct this learning environment, providing actual life skills and real-world circumstances for learning and growth.
