We are thrilled to profile our hardworking eCoaches! This week we are spotlighting Mrs. Kristi Murrell at JAA! We are absolutely thrilled to have Mrs. Murrell on the team.

Mrs. Murrell teaches sixth-grade math at James. A. Arthur Intermediate. Prior to working at JAA, you could find Mrs. Murrell working at James F. Delaney Elementary!

Mrs. Murrell is proud to say Kennedale is her hometown and is a 4th generation Kennedalian! She graduated from Kennedale High School in 1993 and we are proud to have her teaching in Kennedale ISD today!

In addition to holding her Generalist 1-8 certification, Mrs. Murrell is also ESL and Gifted & Talented certified. We asked Mrs. Murrell what makes her so passionate to help her campus and why she wanted to serve as a Campus eCoach.

“I am so eager to be an eCoach for JAA! Technology is my passion and I love learning about new ways to engage my students. For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a teacher. I have been blessed beyond measure with opportunities to advance my teaching skills and aid others in doing the same. I have written curriculum, assessments, presented professional development, and served on several committees. I know that being an eCoach will give me a chance to give back to my campus and to KISD.”

Mrs. Murrell has her Master’s degree in Instructional Technology, so it’s no wonder she is a great fit for the team! Mrs. Murrell is Kennedale through and through, always showing her Wildcat Pride.

“I still live right here in my hometown with my husband, Kenneth. All of my immediate family still live right here in town as well!”

Mrs. Murrell is certainly leaving her footprints here in Kennedale ISD. She is loved by her students and respected by her colleagues. She is a tremendous asset to her campus and we couldn’t be prouder to call her one of our own!
