Last night the Kennedale Lady Kat Volleyball team took on Young Women’s Leadership Academy of Fort Worth and won in straight sets 25-9, 25-5 and 25-9. The JV also earned a win.
It was the first game of a season in which Head Coach Kelly Carl and the Kats have to deal with the expectation that the Kats will be returning to the state final four. Kennedale made their first-ever appearance in the state volleyball final four playoffs last year and fans are hoping for a repeat.

Early season state poll in at #13 …

Argyle is #14 and finishes the top fifteen is Pampa. All of these are recognized names in state volleyball circles.
