Early season state poll in at #13 …

It is hard to win respectability in the competitive field of Texas high school volleyball. Even after the finish last year and with all but one starter returning, the Texas Girls Coaches Association in an early-season poll has Kennedale out of the top 10, coming in at #13 in Class 4A. Leading the pack is Krum followed by Hereford, Needville, Farmersville, and rounding out the top 5 is Lindale. In the second five is Stephenville, Graham, Salado, Decatur and in 10th place is China Springs. At #11 is Gilmer followed by Boerne and then Kennedale. Argyle is #14 and finishes the top fifteen is Pampa. All of these are recognized names in state volleyball circles.
