Kennedale ISD through the Curriculum & Student Services Department announced on January 30, 2022, that it was “proud to bring Tutor.com to our students for live, one-on-one help, whenever it is needed.”

According to its online description, Tutor.com offers round-the-clock online tutoring in a huge range of subjects for customers in the United States and Canada. It is a part of the Princeton Review, the leading resource for college students in the United States. It is aimed at children in K-12 schools and higher education students.

Not long-term tutoring but tool to help with specific problems …

It is not a tutoring program that is designed for a student to get instruction and assistance from one tutor over a period of time. Rather, it is one designed for that one head-scratching problem or topic that a student (or parent) can not figure out and needs more explanation and/or assistance outside the school day – think homework.

Available 24/7 …

Tutoring is available 24/7 by simply typing in a question and get connected to a tutor who can help. It is available every day of the year except Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Independence Day, and Thanksgiving.

Sessions are as long as needed – on average, sessions are short – around 20 to 25 minutes long but students can work with a tutor for as long as they need, whether that is five minutes or a full hour.

Tutor.com is now accessible free to students through their KISD Google account.
