JV Battles Springtown but Lose 21-14

The JV ran out of time Thursday night in an effort to extend their season to 5-1. Springtown managed to put up 21 points to Kennedale?s 14. Kennedale ended the game with the ball on the Porcupine 30 yard line and a chance to tie or win. The Wildcat?s scored on a two yard run by Alex Schwartz, and a two point conversion pass failed. The scoring play was set up by a 50 yard run and catch by Patrick Loving. After several defensive stands led by Aaron Williams and AJ Garcia, the Wildcats were again able to break a big play. Derek Williams scored on a 65 yard run and the conversion was good on a Washington keeper around the end. It was a tremendous effort by the Wildcats in their effort to start district with a win.
