Article correction has been made on the location of the new store.
A new gas/convenience store is set to open next month. It will include a Taco Casa as well. What is puzzling to those driving south towards Mansfield or along Eden is the name that has been put up on the side of the building – Easy Store.
The new store is located on the southwest corner of US 287 and Eden Road and in an area that has become active with new townhomes and office structures. While it is not in the City of Kennedale, it is within the KISD school boundaries.

On a brief visit recently, it was discovered that the store was about three weeks from being finished. The grand opening would be in early March. It was not a part of any other existing chain but the first store of a new chain developing in the area and in Texas. There could be 100 more Easy Stores built in the future.
What is special about this store other than the name and selling gas is yet to be learned.
