Come out and join the KHS Band Booster on Saturday, December 10th from 9 am-2 pm at Kennedale High School for the 19th Annual Breakfast with Santa and Holiday Market.
This is a community-wide event featuring live holiday music, 70+ vendor booths, 100s of hand-crafted gift items, delicious holiday treats, a silent auction, and, of course, SANTA! Don’t forget to bring your camera.
There will be a Pancake Breakfast with pancake stacks from 9 am-11 am and Pizza Lunch from 11 am–1 pm. All proceeds go towards the Kennedale Band program.
The KHS Marching band season is over, but the dedication of the band parents continues. For 18 years they have put on the Breakfast with Santa fundraiser, passing it from one parent group to another, year after year. They volunteer for everything from setting up the gyms for the vendors to flipping pancakes (900 last year, to be exact) and everything in between. They even donate all the food to cook the pancake breakfast! And they’ll do it again this year on December 10th.
The KHS Band program under the direction of Erol Oktay is one of the most successful in the school’s history and a state-recognized program.
