The 35th National Veterans Wheelchair Games is a sports and rehabilitation program for military service Veterans who use wheelchairs for sports competition due to spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, amputations and other neurological conditions. {{more}}
 
Attracting more than 620 athletes each year (and growing), the Wheelchair Games is the largest annual wheelchair sports event in the world, and demonstrates VA?s commitment to support and promote independence and active living for Veterans with disabilities through wheelchair sports and recreation.
 
The public is highly encouraged to attend the Wheelchair Games June 21-26, 2015 with competitions in air guns, archery, basketball, bowling, field events, hand cycling, motorized wheelchair rally, nine-ball, power soccer, quad rugby, slalom, softball, swimming, table tennis, track, trapshooting and weight lifting.
 
The Games also coordinates a ?Kids Day? event where local children with physical disabilities are paired with Veteran athletes to receive mentoring through a variety of sporting events. More information available at www.wheelchairgames.org.
