Individuals and families who live in Kennedale, who are in need of groceries, there is help available provided by a local church. In addition there is thrift store available.
Those in need can get a jumbo size of bag of groceries with a proof of residency. {{more:[Read more]}}This is part of the First United Methodist Church of Kennedale?s mission program.The Food Pantry store located at is open every Tuesday 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
The Girls
The Food Pantry does welcome donations or cash to restock the community food pantry. A special thanks go to the ?The Girls?, a group of Kennedale alumni friends who have decided to give cash gifts to the food pantry instead of birthday gifts to each other.
The Methodist Church also operates the Our Mission Store (Thrift Store) that is full of bargains, clothes for the entire family, antiques and household items at garage sale prices.The Mission Store is open Thurs. Fri. & Sat. 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
