The Kennedale Police Department reported the following five incidents for the one week period beginning February 3 through February 10, 2018 and included forgery, lost wallet and criminal mischief. {{more: continue …}}
These reports and others were in addition to on-going investigations. These do not include calls where no report was written. Some of the offenses, after further investigation, may have been deemed unfounded.
Incident Reports:?
2/8 – Criminal Mischief $100 to $750 – Jake Circle: At 12:17 p.m. an officer received a report of criminal mischief. A victim reported that his pickup truck was damaged while parked in his driveway. During the overnight hours person(s) unknown scratched the paint on the vehicle. Damage was done to the driver side and the hood.
2/8 – Incident – Municipal Drive: At 2:07 p.m. a victim reported that his Honda Civic was damaged while parked on a school parking lot. The victim?s vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle, causing scratches to the front bumper. No information was left for the victim.
2/9 – Abandoned/ Found Property – 1200 block of N. Little School Road: At 3:15 p.m. an officer responded to a local business for found property. A customer had turned in a wallet found on the property. The wallet contained identifying information and credit cards. A phone number was located for the owner of the wallet and a voice mail was left indicating how to reclaim the property. The wallet was placed in property for safe keeping.
2/9 – Assault by Threat -? At 4:56 p.m. a victim reported to police that he had been assaulted by his wife on 02/07/2018. During an argument with his wife, the victim reported that she threw food on him that was being prepared for dinner. The wife also attempted to assault their juvenile daughter. The wife left the home and went to another family property in another city.
