The KJHS band program, which has steadily growing over the last several years, is composed of three separate bands; the Honors, the Symphonic and the Concert.?Last week ago each band performed at the highest level with the Honors and Symphonic Bands receiving straight ones from the UIL judges on both concert and sight reading while the Concert Band received straight ones on stage and a two in sight reading.?
Erol Oktay, Director of Bands, called it an ?outstanding performance? by all the students.

The bands are under the direction of Mr. Benjamin Brown, Head Director and Mrs. Eleanor Macias, Associate Director.
