School district seeking public input in superintendent search

The Kennedale ISD Board of Trustees are asking for citizen input in their search for a replacement for retiring Superintendent Gary Dugger. {{more: continue …}}

The Trustees have hired the Texas Association of School Board Executive Search Services to assist in the search for a new superintendent.

The Board has requested that school personnel and the public be involved in developing qualifications and characteristics of the person the Board should seek to become the new superintendent.

TASB has a simple questionnaire that ask what you think. The questionnaire can be filled out and submitted online.

There are just three questions …?

• What do you consider to be the two or three most significant strengths of the district?

• What do you consider to be the two or three most important issues/concerns/challenges facing the district?

• What professional/personal characteristics should the board look for in the next superintendent?
