Choir Director Matt Schenck said in a post that the following students advanced to Round II.
- Leanne Blind, 1st Chair, Soprano 2
- Hannah Malone, 3rd Chair, Soprano 2
- Haylee Schofield 2nd Chair, Alto 1
- Noah Wyckoff, 1st Chair, Bass 2
- Lane Hubenakk 3rd Chair, Bass 2
- Brian Gnome, 3rd Chair, Bass 1
Round II will be at Burleson High School on October8 with Round III at Weatherford High School on November 11.
This year, Kennedale performs in Region 30 for both choir and band contest. There are 28 school districts represented in the Region 30 with Kennedale on the eastern edge, spreading south to Maypearl, west to Glen Rose, north to Springtown and back east to Keller.4A district competition this year will include Springtown, Glen Rose, Godley, Alvarado, Venus, Lake Worth, Castleberry and Kennedale.
