The 2013 Art in the Park scholarship winners Daniela Ramirez and Casey Boone.?The Art in the Park Committee is committed to providing promising students with financial assistance that will help them to further their academic careers. Every year, students are invited to submit a piece of art for a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship for college. {{more}}?Daniela, who has been dancing for 10 years, entered a solo jazz dance. Casey?s entry was a self portrait.
?Daniela plans to attend the University of Texas in Austin where she will major in Public Relations. Casey also plans to attend the University of Texas in Austin and will major in Art Therapy.?The Art in the Park Committee thanks both of them for sharing their talents, and wishing them the best of luck.?Check out the Art in the Park video to the left under the City of Kennedale media center.?
