Three Kennedale High School seniors were recipients of the City of Kennedale’s “Art in the Park” 2014 scholarship program this year.
Art in the Park is an annual arts festival supporting scholarships for Kennedale graduating seniors in performing arts programs. The three-day festival showcases local artists and entertainers, with free admission, food, fun, and family-friendly activities. {{more}}
The annual festival is in its 5th year and is presented in colloboration with the City of Kennedale, Kennedale Chamber of Commerce, Arts and Culture Foundation and Kennedale Independent School District. Recipients this year are students Aubrey Nelson (KHS Band), Kayla Marshall (KHS Theatre) and Vanessa Stahl (KHS Theatre).
