On Wednesday, February 26, James A Arthur Intermediate students participated in UIL academic competition in Glen Rose.
Arthur was represented with three teams this year. Working hard to prepare for the competition paid off for the Kennedale students. {{more}}
In the Maps, Graphs, and Charts event, Allen Constantino placed 1st, Brandon Isensee placed 2nd and Wali Latifi placed 3rd. Arthur?s Maps, Graphs, and Charts team placed 1st overall.
In the Dictionary Skills event, Allen Constantino placed 1st, Libby Beck placed 2nd, and Trinity Tran won 4th. Arthur?s Dictionary Skills team placed 1st overall.
In Impromptu Speaking, all three speakers advanced to the finals, with Libby Beck placing 1st, Tristen Gillespie-Hull placing 4th, and Isabella Mora placing 6th.
