The City of Kennedale is hosting a free family friendly community event this weekend for dogs and kids. It is held in conjunction with the National Kids to Park Day. {{more:[read more]}}
It is a combined event held at Sonora Park in Kennedale this Saturday May 21, 2016. The long range forecast is calling for partly cloudy skies with a high of 85 degrees, perfect weather.
Kid Fish starts at 9:00 am and last to 12 noon. You can fish all day if you want but the contest last until noon. For those not fishing and who want bring out the dogs and the family from 9am to 2pm. They do need to be on a lease (the dogs not the family).
There will be low cost vaccinations available from 10 to noon.The full park is open with trails, picnic tables, disc golf, playground and splash pad.
