KENNEDALE — Benny Mitchell Berger, 72, of Kennedale passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Monday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home. {{more: Read full obituary …}}Visitation 9 a.m. Monday prior to the service.
Benny was born in Temple, Texas to LM Berger and Ann Berger. He was an amazing son, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who cherished his family.
He worked at OD Wyatt High School as a teacher and golf coach where he was mentor to many. He worked for Hi-Line Electric for many years and always spoke highly of the opportunities he had there to make great friends and touch many lives.Benny loved golf, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Texas Rangers. His creative side allowed him to do different things from woodworking, building websites for many companies, to creating apps for smartphones. Above all, Benny loved his family and all the friendships that he made over the years.
Survived by: Wife, Danna Reynolds Berger; Daughters, Brenda Hobbs and husband, Randy, Bridget Ledesma and husband, Danny, Patsy Hughes and husband Steve, Ginny Evans and husband, Robert; Grandchildren, Rhandi Rae Lancon, Holly Lucas, Trey Hobbs, Ty Ledesma, Collin Ledesma, Dani Ledesma, Erin Walker, Emily Kline, Katie Evans, Danny Evans, and Justin Evans; and 6 Great-grandchildren.
