Three years in the making and a milestone goal of the KHS Outdoor Education/biology teacher, Danny Wilcox, this is not a small tournament. There are 3 divisions ? high school, middle school and elementary. All total there will be 329 archers from 18 schools. One hundred and fifty-eight will be female archers and one-hundred and seventy-one male archers. There will be 9 flights starting at 9:00 am Saturday and running through 6:00 pm that evening.

The high schools competing include Kennedale (35 archers), Allen (24 archers), Ennis (10 archers), Arlington Martin (48 archers), Arlington (24 archers), Arlington Seguin (3 archers), Arlington Sam Houston (4 archers), Arlington Bowie (19 archers), Arlington Lamar (22 archers), Mabank (4 archers), Bray-Doyle (17 archers), Verita Academy (1 archer ) and FM Marcus (1 archer).

The middle Schools/junior highs entered include Allen (15 archers), Mabank (21 archers), Ennis (5 archers), Lamar (1 archer), Grand Prairie Ronald Reagan (18 archers), Bray-Doyle (14 archers).

Thirty-five KHS archers will be competing and include: Kirsty Ballinger, Dathan Cox, Clay Hilton, Aaron Ly, Gabby Spencer, Chandler Webb, Hailey Bavol, Kiley Zeller, Addie Richardson, Kaylee Huynh, Caleb Rendon, Hannah Stephens, Colton Zahradnik, Lilly Hernandez, Victor DeCluette, Stephanie Escalante, Brandon Isensee, Colton Warren, Jace Warren, Robin Lindeman, Joanne Kapplaj, Maddie Fail, Alex Kizakarich, Chloe Wakeland, Analise Branch, Alyssa Merchantel, Taylor Brua, Isiah Butler, Travis Rogers, Morgan Earle, Lennan Monreal, Derek Shockey, Mikayla Earle, Jesse Rampy and Leland Murphy.?
KHS parents have volunteered for duty stations, the KHS Aristokats will be running the concessions and the KHS archers will be doing double duty with 3 hour shifts to help keeping things running smoothly.
