Bostad on “Who to watch for: Women’s Sports

McKinley Bostad is a freshman guard recruited out of Kennedale High School in Texas.

The Premier Basketball Report ranked Bostad 21st as a recruit in Texas and 146th in the nation. {{more}}

As a senior, Bostad averaged 22 points a game and six steals a game. She also led her team to a perfect 20-0 league record in her last two years. Bostad was named team captain as a senior and scored 639 points during that season.

McKinley also earned 3A All-State honors and named to the Girls 1A-2A-3A

Athlete of the Year team.

Bostad has shown leadership and an impressive ability to score and steal. She will be another well-rounded addition to this Arkansas team.

 

Bostad is the daughter of Patti and Kevin Bostad. She has a brother, Brett.
