The City of Kennedale and the Kennedale Arts and Culture Foundation is proud to present the 6th annual Brickworks Festival, a three-day event showcasing local artists and entertainers that includes 70 artists, crafts, businesses, non-profits, and food booths, including 24 new exhibitors.
There will be a Kid’s Zone that will include crafts, Merry Heart Face Painting, “Fair Hair” spray-in hair color and designs, bounce houses with a giant slide and basketball goals, mechanical bull rides, a photo booth, pony rides, a petting zoo, barrel train rides, puppet shows, archery practice and demonstration.
The festival starts Friday with the annual San Jancinto/Texas Independence Day Parade (starting at Delaney Elementary at 7 p.m.) and concludes with Kennedale?s own world famous Lannie Flowers performing at 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, along with the art show, craft fair and kid activities, includes Brickfest 5K and Fun Run, a pie eating contest and the performances by Brendon Preece and the feature performance of Charla Corn.
Sunday afternoon features a Pet Parade, the First Baptist Church Praise Team, KHS and KJHS performers and the Scholarship presentation.Read more at BrickworksFestival

We love that students of all genres (vocal and performing arts, theater, photography and fine arts) have applied in past years.
