?The event will be held on Saturday, July 28 at Sonora Park (224 South New Hope Road) from 9 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. Registration is required for this free event (see below).?What it is all about …??
The First Catch Camp is designed to bring parents and kids together in an activity that can build into a lifetime of memories ? remember ?a family that fishes together stays hooked together?
?
The day will include activities that kids and parents will share and learn together that will include basics of fishing, identifying fish, water and boat safety, varies types of fishing equipment, angler ethics, respecting the environment, tackle box essential, along with local tips, tricks and techniques used to catch fish. There will be more including some time for lines in the water.

Things to bring …?

Bring a sack lunch for the family along with the bug spray, suntan lotion, hats, sunglasses and shoes that may get wet and/or muddy.
?
Fishing equipment and bait will be provided but you may bring your own.

This is an event that requires pre-registration as there is limited space. There is no cost.?
