According to a message sent out by KHS Wildcat Baron Browning, he has decided to leave his options open going into his senior year. {{more}}
Browning is considered a four-star recruit out of the State of Texas and has generated interest across the nation.
The Kennedale High School junior had been committed to the Baylor Bears since mid-July but saying on Twitter, “I think it’s best I open my recruitment back up all the way and really weigh my options going into my senior year.” He went on to say that he’ll make his list of preferred schools public at a later date.
Browning is a 6-foot-3, 227-pound linebacker on the Kennedale Wildcats team that finished 12-1 this past year. He is rated as # 40 in Scout’s 2017 rankings.This past year Browning was named a Junior All-America 2ndTeam (Max-Preps), All State 1st Team Defense (AP Sports Editors), DFW Super
Team 2nd Team Defense and 5-4A All
District 1st Team Defense.
