On April 9, 2017, at 8:57 p.m., officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at Burger King in the 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway. A male suspect entered the store and asked to speak to the manager. The suspect then displayed a firearm to the manager and demanded money. On May 4th he was interviewed at the Tarrant County jail by a Kennedale investigator. Subsequent to that interview the suspect admitted to robbing the Burger King and gave information specific to that offense.
