Claude Swann, 82, went to be with the Lord, Jesus, Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Service was 9 a.m. Saturday at Oakcrest Family Church with interment in Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park.?Claude was from Birmingham, Ala., and has many family members in Alabama to this day. He moved to Texas in 1951 to work in the oilfields. He worked in many areas of the oilfields through the years but enjoyed truck driving the best. {{more}}?He retired from Permian Trucking in Midland about 1986. He loved country music, gospel music and animals as well as the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys.?Claude had a great sense of humor and a terrific smile. Claude was a loving daddy and husband. He was a beloved member of Oakcrest Family Church in Kennedale. He will be very sadly missed.?Survivors: Wife, Dorothy Swann; daughters, Patsy Swann-Foshee, Linda G. Lewis, Claudia McLendon and husband, Artis; son, Jimmy Swann and wife, Paula; stepdaughter, Betty J.
