The Kennedale City Council will meet in regular session tonight at Kennedale City in Council Chambers. - Hold a public hearing and consider request to allow the selling of alcoholic beverages that would be in within 300 feet of a church on property located at 1375 Gilman Road (off of I-20 service road and near FWT Sabre Industries in a primary commercial area). Staff report?
- Hold a public hearing and consider a request by Spirals Gymnastics, Inc for rezoning from Planned Development Urban Village to Urban Village on 2 acres of land at 1038 Bowman Springs. This request is in accordance with a previous plan. Staff Report?
- Hold a public hearing and consider a request by Water Tank Services, LLC to a modification to the Planned Development ordinance for building materials, specifically the use of brick fa?ade on buildings on land at 6901 Mansfield Cardinal Road. This request would apply to current structures and not future buildings. Staff Report?
- Hold a public hearing and consider a request for change of zoning for 12 acres located 406 CrestView Drive from the current ?Agricultural? to ?Urban Village?. The request is by KD Hammack Creek Housing for vacant land at that location and the change would allow residential and related retail of office development. The develop of that area by KD would include a mix of town homes, apartments along with retail and offices. Staff Report
Consider amendments to existing city ordinances …?
- Short Term rentals – This amendment is attempting to provide some regulations of ?short-term rentals? – the rental of residential properties for less than 30 days. It does not ban the rentals but does put limits on location, number of occupants, usage (no parties or event venues), limits vehicles and requires notification of neighbors. Staff Report?
- Nuisances ? this amendment adds regulations regarding outdoor storage, specifically in residential front yards. It would not control toys and front porch furniture but would restrict some other types of front yard storages without appropriate screening or use of storage building. Staff Report
