Today, Wednesday, April 15, 2020 Tarrant County reported 990 COVID-19 cases. This is up from 876 reported on Monday, April 13 for a total of 114 more cases. Texas has reported 15,492 cases statewide up from 13,906 cases. Kennedale remains at one. {{more: continue …}}

Tarrant County reported 25 deaths (no change) with 103 recoveries (up from 90). There are 133 currently hospitalized.

The State of Texas has recorded 364 deaths (up from 287) with 1,538 hospitalized (up from 1,176) and 3,150 estimated recoveries (up from 2,269).

The City of Kennedale has recorded no new cases since reported one over the weekend.?

Border cities of Fort Worth, Arlington and Forest Hill continue to see an increase in reported cases while Everman has added another case and Mansfield added no new cases.

As more deaths are recorded, a clearer picture is emerging of who has a greater chance of dying from the coronavirus. More males are dying than females, 67% to 33% and those over the age of 65 account for 60% of all deaths thus far in Tarrant County. There are no reported case for those from birth to age 14.? Just 6% of all cases are in the age bracket 15-24 while it rises to 33% for 25-44. 40% of cases and 33% of deaths are reported for 45-64.
