Eleven members for the 2019 District 9-4A Basketball Champions, the Kennedale Lady Kats, earned All-Academic and/or All-District awards. There were eight who were recognized for their play on the court and seven you made the list for their performance in the classroom. {{more: continue …}}?
The 2018-19 Lady Kats secured their 3rd straight district sweep extending their record to 42-0 in district play and made their 18th straight trip to the playoffs. The Kats lost in the second round of the UIL playoffs ending their year with a record of 21-14 overall and 12-0 in district play.

In the playoffs, Kennedale easily defeated an outmatched North Hills Uplift Academic 105-9 but couldn’t keep up the pressure against Dallas Pinkston in the area round, losing 55-43.
