?For Kennedalethere are a dozen individuals running as candidates either for the Kennedale
City Council or the KISD Board of Trustees. This is an unusual election for residents not only because of the large number of candidates but that every office is contested and that there are just 2 incumbent running for re-election.
?At the end of the day on May 4, there will fresh faces on both the school board and the city council.

General
Election Information including candidate statements ?
Clarification: The
information in this article pertains to residents of the City of Kennedale for
city elections and residents of Kennedale Independent School District for
school board elections. This can get
confusing because many citizens live in Arlington and will vote in Arlington
city elections but they are also reside within the KISD boundaries and will vote for Kennedale school board. School
district boundary lines do not match city lines. There are other areas of
crossover such as Ft Worth ISD and the City of Kennedale.
